Sometime in October, I blogged about Tinderville.  If you missed it, HERE it is again.  A lot of people/singles have said Tinder is so 2014 and 2015 ushers in Happn.  The only #datingapp so far on the planet to use GPS to track people that cross one another's path.

Recently i was interviewed by a researcher from a university in the United Stated - who wanted to know my experience so far, the mannerism of the types of matches i have come across and also if indeed i actually see them when we cross path.

The app's niche market is attractive, especially for those into serious relationships.

6. LunchClick


This is another #Singapore birthed app.  This app is targeted at singles who are interested in genuine dates and long -term relationships.

A possible light in the end of the tunnel from all the dating apps out there catering for fleeting encounters, casual hook ups.

LunchClick intends to create a safe environment where its simpler to get more satisfactory offline dates.

The founder was quoted saying,"This is an app for serious daters, if you're serious, come and use our app".

Flash Mob Proposal Fails - Girlfriend rejects ring....says it's too small

Chinese woman rejects her boyfriend's proposal ring...because it was 'too small'.  He got down on one knee, opened the box  and her eyes went wide as she put her hand over her mouth and then turned around and walked away without saying a word! ' said a local witness.

The woman later told her friends on why she rejected the proposal. ' But he agreed to buy me diamon ring as large as a 1 carat,' she said.  'Why was this one so small? Is he so careless or has he ever cared about me?'
The friend reassured her the boyfriend might have been planning to buy a bigger ring.

The internet has been on frenzy with this news and a lot of people are calling her out saying she doesn't deserve it and the guy should consider himself lucky.

Lolade's Corner: Liar Liar!!

.......To an extent, we tell little white lies here and there, don't we?  I don't know of a single person who can confidently beat his/her chest and say there are saints ....oh well except the saints.

We must have all lied in our childhood, either to our parents while trying to avoid being punished for a wrong act; to our friends - pretending to be what we're not; to our employers/employees while trying to be approachable; event to our own siblings; or just about anyone just for the fun of it - trying to get away with what we shouldn't.

Little white lies are quite harmless in nature, the lies often smooth over what might otherwise escalate into an awkward or unwanted situation, but when lies become persistent, glamorized and blown out of proportion, it does become ridiculous and can be quite harmful.  You'll be quite surprised at the rate at which people lie and the extent they'll go to cover it up such lies.

Couples lie to each other, siblings do, children to parent do, office lies are the juiciest and could be very dangerous too.  Lies then take on a soul - when you lie, you need to tell another one to cover up the initial lie and so the layer of coverings continues till it reaches a magnitude that it bursts right in your face!

There's nothing wrong with dreaming- having dreams makes you achieve and accomplish your set goals but a lie is a lie - it's not a dream ..............to be continued

.......and I was like, who's she?
Alex was newly employed at this printout joint or lounge as you may call it.  She was inbetweeen schools and decided it would be best to work and earn a few dollars - rather than laze around waiting for college, so there she was, doing her bit when i saw her.  Alex might not be the most beautiful girl ever, but she had striking features and great physique plus she's got this carriage that's unique to her.  She has this interesting aura around her such that you get drawn to her instantly - not in a sleazy way but you'ld want to talk to her, get to know her and Thank God she wasn't a snub like a lot of girls I know.  Alex - was just cool! she could hold her own in any conversation without trying to dominate it neither was she pea-brained.

Alex - she knew how to have a good laugh, she wasn't clingy, she was just right! Did i fall in love with her after i observed all these after visiting the printout lounge severally? I didn't think Alex was real....of course there are amazing ladies out there, but Alex was just peculiar and being a bad boy, i tend to attract girls like me.

Alex and I are good friends now, she's taken (by a lucky guy) , but sincerely wish the guy could be me. Old habits die hard - so hopefully i meet my own 'Alex' at some point.

Special Birthday Present for Rita Ora

The past 1 week has been an intriguing one in the Nigerian twitter-sphere featuring a lady named Lotana (please note - she publicly mentioned and acknowledged her name) a.k.a Empress Sugabelly. The well written and articulate way in which she detailed the horrific experience she alleged to have had in the hands of Mustapha Audu, who was meant to have been a boyfriend - at first, turned out to be a turn around of some sort of Stockholm Syndrome for Sugabelly.

Let's push and put a stop to Rape- whatever shape or form it may come.  To read more on this issue, HERE is a direct link to Sugabelly's blog where she put all the details of her experience over a 6 month period , of which she has and is still suffering from after over 8 years.  The accused is of course denying, but in my opinion, his public response so far has been extremely weak and shows that he may be actually guilty.

According to Mirror online, women in Greece are selling sex for as little at 2euros while others do it just for a cheese pie or snadwich because they are hungry.  Report Aurthor, Greogty Lazos of Panteion University in Athens said there are now an estimated 18,500 sex workers in Greece.

According to sex advice expert Ian Kerner, as seen on cosmopolitan online magazine,  he laid out 10 commandments that should be followed for first-time sex ever or with a new guy.

1. Safety First. Ensure he's wearing a condom (even if you're on a pill) and talk about your respective sexual histories (if any).

2.  Don't have too -high expectations.  Sex generally improves as you get to know someone and become more comfortable with each other's bodies.

3.  Breathe. First time sex can be tense and nerve-wracking, not to mention painful sometimes.  Relax and let go.

4.  Don't forget to enjoy foreplay.  All the stuff that leads up to intercourse - kissing, touching, oral sex - is part of the sexual experience, not just penetration.

5.  Ensure you're amply aroused before intercourse.  Not only do you want to be genuinely turned on, you want to be sufficiently lubricated.

6.  Speak up.  Let him know what feels good and what doesn't.

7.  Don't assume he's the expert.  He may be getting a lot of his information about sex fro porn and the tall tales of his buddies in the locker room.  If he's experienced, every sexual encounter is unique.

8.  Don't expect to have an orgasm.  It's great if you do - but most women don't climax the first few times with a new guy.

3. Change things up. The best thing to do if you're close to the edge? Alter your speed. Try teasing her.

4. Slow down.  Instead of the fast-paced jack-hammering style many men are so fond of, try taking your time.

5. Try a different kind of exercise. It's suggested that exercising the PC muscles, the ones that stretch from the anus to the unrinary sphincter helps.  Daily PC muscle reps helps a guy to literally pump himself up.  Squeezing those muscles triggers good blood flow to the penis, which in turn leads to mental confidence.
