Lolade's Corner: Liar Liar!!

.......To an extent, we tell little white lies here and there, don't we?  I don't know of a single person who can confidently beat his/her chest and say there are saints ....oh well except the saints.

We must have all lied in our childhood, either to our parents while trying to avoid being punished for a wrong act; to our friends - pretending to be what we're not; to our employers/employees while trying to be approachable; event to our own siblings; or just about anyone just for the fun of it - trying to get away with what we shouldn't.

Little white lies are quite harmless in nature, the lies often smooth over what might otherwise escalate into an awkward or unwanted situation, but when lies become persistent, glamorized and blown out of proportion, it does become ridiculous and can be quite harmful.  You'll be quite surprised at the rate at which people lie and the extent they'll go to cover it up such lies.

Couples lie to each other, siblings do, children to parent do, office lies are the juiciest and could be very dangerous too.  Lies then take on a soul - when you lie, you need to tell another one to cover up the initial lie and so the layer of coverings continues till it reaches a magnitude that it bursts right in your face!

There's nothing wrong with dreaming- having dreams makes you achieve and accomplish your set goals but a lie is a lie - it's not a dream ..............to be continued
