Sunday the 22nd of November was an amazing day for Modern Day Family Star - Sofia Vergara and her hunky bae, Magic Mike star - Joe Manganiello.  The welcomed guests to their lavish reception , where they had their first dance to Frank Sinatra's 1964 cover of 'The Way You Loo Tonight'.

It was also reported that Pitbull performed as a surprise musical guest.  Wishing the couple a blissful married life!

Lolade's Corner: Re- Are You The Other Woman?

Some days ago, I posted my article on 'The Other Woman', if you missed it, please find it HERE .The article generated a lot of interest as i received emails and phone calls - one of which I'll share with you now.

Chantel (not her real name), is an upwardly mobile fashion critic, so sh's always on the go and can atimes be the 'in your face' type of lady, however, once you get to know her, she's a complete sweet heart and her intelligence is on point.

In her words 'As an art critic, people tend not to take me seriously, they always infer - who is she to criticize my work'? Does she know the effort i put into my creativity? I tell them,'if you're as good as you think you are, what's there to fear'?
I know I'm a hard worker, says Chantel, and i have to be in a lot of people's faces, sometimes, step on toes too - otherwise, they are not ready to give you the right of way or the chance to achieve anything.

Who's often referred to as 'the other woman'?
She  is the 'extra' that a man decides to keep on the side ...a.k.a 'side chick', the one known by most of his friends and definitely NOT by  his in-laws or in-laws to be.
She is the secret 'pleasure' on the side and in most cases, she doesn't even know it!

So many ladies are 'the other woman' without knowing it - especially if the man is young, dashing and irresistible, but already married or in a serious relationship, and fails to reveal his status.

We all know the other woman is always at a disadvantage, she invests her emotions, time, energy and in some cases - money.
